Have I mentioned how much I love Come, Follow Me? I love how simple and direct it is in teaching the doctrines and principles of the Gospel. Have I mentioned how much I love that Personal Progress does the same thing? And best of all, both are designed to help youth APPLY the gospel to their lives! Of course I couldn’t ignore this correlation, and so I ended up pairing Personal Progress experiences with the different lesson topics. I was surprised by just how much overlap there was between the lessons and the experiences. I have print outs in two sizes: 11×8.5 (full sheet) and 5.5×4.25 (quarter sheet). Both could be handed out to young women at the beginning of the month at the introduction of the topic, and the full size could even be pinned to a wall or bulletin board for reference throughout the month. It could even be presented as a challenge with a motivational prize for the extra daring. Be creative! PDF | PDF (4 to a page) (JPG’s are hyperlinked to above images)
My girls love "Come, Follow Me". I hope this will help them to work on Personal Progress that ties in with the lessons of each month. Thank you for all the work you put into these posts.
The August Virtue suggestion is missing numbers. I think it should read Virtue 1 and Virtue 3.
Thanks for this great resource! I’m using it to create a mutual planning scrabble board!
