Learn about an area of work or service that interests you. Talk to someone who works in that field and find out what that person’s job responsibilities are, what training or education the person obtained to do the job, and what contributions this person’s job makes to society. Record your findings in your journal.
Go local! Meet someone in your community! Their job might not be quite what you envision yourself doing, but you’ll learn a lot and may find you have more interest in something new!
Have a career night at mutual. Survey the young women about what careers they find interesting, and ask members of the ward with similar occupations to share their experiences in that field.
