Happy 2017! 2016 was a whirlwind of ups and downs (but mostly ups!) and I am so excited for the fresh start that this new year brings. I had originally planned to have most of these 2017 Mutual Theme materials available by September, but life had different plans for me. School and family took first priority and I’m so grateful for what came from making those priorities. However, when I had the time to add this back into my list of priorities, I did so right away.
I put a lot of effort into creating resources that I thought would be the most meaningful and worthwhile. After leaving Young Women for Relief Society I had a different perspective which I was so glad to have as I created these printables. I didn’t want to create tools that you might glance over but not really use, and I did want the things I included to be genuinely useful.
In the Class Presidency Binder Kit, the files are designed to give Young Women a solid foundation to start with and build upon in their leadership callings. All these files are useable for adult leaders as well, but created specifically with youth in mind. The Mutual Theme Download Kit is filled with printables designed to use as handouts and decorations, especially for a New Years Kick-off or New Beginnings, and can be used throughout the year for birthdays, Girls Camp, and Young Women in Excellence.
The poster collection was the first thing I created, which really solidified the design of everything else. I wanted to do something playful but still mature enough for Young Women. I eventually settled on just the right colors and fonts and I think they work perfectly together. The poster is available in 3 different color schemes and 8 different sizes. There is also a version of the poster with just the text and no background available in the Mutual Theme Download Kit, and which you can also download FREE right here since I love offering free options for everyone out there.

I’m so grateful for the theme this year because it’s designed to help us focus on the big picture and what matters most, which is gaining a testimony of basic principles and building our relationship with God. My goal this year with The Personal Progress Helper is to refocus on those things with the materials we put out, which will include more printables and articles designed to help young women and leaders on their personal path of progress.
