I’ve been playing around a LOT this month with handouts for August. I LOVE the topics about marriage & family, and went just a little crazy creating TONS of handouts. I’ve also listened to some feedback I’ve heard, so the majority have white backgrounds so as to avoid eating up tons of ink, and they’re scaled back to a quarter sheet, as opposed to 4×6, for easier printing (though it will still be super easy for you to scale them to 4×6 for printing!) All files are 300dpi JPG images, except for a few which are also PDF. You can download all the files HERE! To start I have updated The Family: A Proclamation to the World with the Young Women theme from last year. That version was pretty poor quality, but this file is a super high-quality PDF. There’s the one with only the text, and one with value-colored highlighting. And following that train of thought, I have the paragraph from the proclamation talking about principles of families, with each principle highlighted with the color of a correlating Young Women’s value. I actually saw a similar idea for this one on Pinterest, but I couldn’t track it down. This handout is styled to look like a wedding invitation, to remind girls of the ultimate goal of marriage in the temple. This handout is a little cheesy, but I thought it was pretty cute. The song “So This is Love” from Disney’s Cinderella has some phrases that, when placed in the context of celestial marriage, made perfect sense! Disclaimer: The silhouette and song lyrics are property of The Walt Disney Company; The Personal Progress Helper does not claim ownership of either the image or the lyrics. The rest of the handouts are quotes from the different lesson resources. I definitely didn’t cover everything, but I got at least one or two quotes for each lesson, which should be a start!
