Read Mosiah 18:7–10, and in your journal list three ways you can comfort others or help them bear their burdens. Do the things on your list, and tell a family member or leader about the experience and how your attitude and understanding have changed.
Burdens can be big and small, and people respond to others reaching out to help in different ways. Some people may not be receptive, but don’t give up on them, and continue to find opportunities to serve.
Consider doing this alongside Good Works 4, and have everyone in your family participate in making lists for family home evening. Then, challenge them to do the things on their lists over the coming week.
This would be an excellent experience to do at Girls Camp, creating a list each day, or for each girl in your age group. Look at how it changes you and those around you as you do so.
